# Spona

> Spona is a free micro ERP for managing outsourced work — contracts, work phases and milestones, tasks and subtasks, payment analytics, built-in chat and video calls, a shared calendar and an AI consultant, all in one place. It also offers optional built-in financing (invoice purchase) so suppliers can be paid early and clients can defer payment by up to 90 days.

Spona is operated by Spona d.o.o. (Croatia) and serves companies that run projects with external suppliers and subcontractors, across all industries. The platform replaces the patchwork of separate tools normally used to coordinate outsourced work, money and documents.

## Key facts
- The tool is completely free — all features, for the user and every invited partner, with no tiers and no trial clock.
- Financing is the only paid service. It is a one-off fee set by the deferral term: 2.95% for 30 days, 6.38% for 60 days, 9.99% for 90 days. The fee is paid by whichever side requests the financing.
- Financing is short-term trade finance / invoice purchase — it is not a loan and not factoring. There is no application, no collateral and no debt added to the user's balance sheet, and it does not touch their bank credit line.
- Two financing options, either side can request: client deferral (the client defers payment up to 90 days; Spona pays the supplier now; the client repays Spona at term) and supplier advance (the supplier is paid early; the client approves Spona as payee and settles with Spona at the due date).
- The service fee covers the full service, not just the money: managing the receivable, the Spona platform, client onboarding and credit-risk checks on both suppliers and buyers, receivable insurance where applicable, receiving and verifying invoices, notifying the other party, dispute resolution, reconciliation, two-sided communication, technical support, archiving, data security and reminders.
- Supported currencies: EUR and USD, chosen per contract.
- One universal account with two modes — Client Mode (you are the buyer) and Supplier Mode (you deliver the work) — switch modes instead of keeping separate accounts.
