The free tool

Yes. The whole tool is free — for you and every partner you invite. No tiers, no trial clock. The only paid service is financing, and only if you choose to use it.

Financing

When a milestone is approved, either side can request financing — and the supplier is paid early either way. With client deferral, the client defers payment for up to 90 days: Spona pays the supplier now, and the client repays Spona at the end of the term. With a supplier advance, the supplier asks to be paid early: the client approves Spona as the payee, Spona pays the supplier, and the client then settles with Spona at the due date.

The tool is completely free. Financing — payment deferral or advance — is the only paid service, priced by the deferral term: 2.95% for 30 days, 6.38% for 60 days, and 9.99% for 90 days. That single fee covers the funding plus the full service around it — not just the money. The fee is paid by whichever side requests the financing.

The fee is for the financing service, and it covers far more than the money. It includes — but isn't limited to — managing the receivable, use of the Spona platform, client onboarding and credit-risk checks on both suppliers and buyers, receivable insurance where applicable, receiving and verifying invoices, notifying the other party, dispute resolution, reconciliation, communication with both sides, technical support, record-keeping, data security, sending reminders, and other related services as permitted by law.

Open a project, choose Request Financing and submit the short form. Our team reaches out to finalize the details. You can request it for a whole project or a single milestone, and track every request.

EUR and USD. You pick the currency when you create a contract, and everything else follows it.

It's a different kind of product. Spona financing is short-term trade finance — closer to invoice purchase than a term loan — so a 30, 60 or 90-day fee shouldn't be annualised into an APR; you're buying a single short transaction, not borrowing for a year. There's no application, no collateral and no debt added to your books, it doesn't touch your bank credit line. The one fee covers the funding, arranging it, the collection and the timing risk — work and risk a loan leaves with you. And you pay it once, per deal, only when you use it.
Account & modes

One universal account with two modes. Client Mode shows the projects where you're the buyer; Supplier Mode shows the ones where you deliver the work. Switch anytime from your profile menu.
